is now available directly from us:
Retrofit: First-hand software support and further development.
What is the story behind this?
I developed this control software myself – every line of code, every interface, every machine generation. Over more than two decades, it has been proven, refined, and adapted to the requirements of real production environments in use at Service Elastomertechnik.
Since Service Elastomertechnik no longer exists, I am continuing the retrofit offering directly – with the same software, the same experience, and a modern, newly developed user interface. Existing customers will continue to receive the support they know. New customers gain a contact person who knows the system from the ground up.
What is Retrofit?
Retrofit – what does that mean in concrete terms?
Retrofit means: Your machine stays. The outdated control system goes. We replace the existing control hardware and software with a modern solution – including a newly developed operating visualization that intentionally mimics the previous interface. Your operators will find their way around immediately, without extensive retraining.
The project runs from the initial assessment to commissioning from a single source – with me as your direct contact.
Your Benefits:
Over 20 years of system experience
The software isn't new – it's proven. It has been running in real production environments since 2001. I know every edge case, every machine generation, and every typical source of error.
Proven parameters are retained
Your parameter sets and machine settings, optimized over years, are transferred and can be used immediately. No new setup, no run-in period, no scrap after the conversion – production runs at the familiar level right from the first cycle.
Significantly more cost-effective than a new purchase
A new injection molding machine costs multiples more. With a retrofit, you modernize the control system for a fraction of the cost – and keep the mechanical system, which will continue to run reliably for years to come.
Minimal downtime
The conversion typically takes place over a long weekend. Your line is running again on Monday – with a new control system and no production downtime during the week.
Familiar user interface
The new visualization intentionally follows the previous design. Parameters, navigation, and color coding remain recognizable – your staff requires no retraining.
Fewer pages, better overview
The new visualization consolidates information that was previously spread across multiple subpages. Fewer clicks, faster access – right at the machine.
One contact person – not a service provider
You speak directly with the developer. No ticketing systems, no forwarding. The person who built the software also takes care of your operation.
Project Workflow
On-site assessment
I analyze your machine, the existing control environment, and your requirements – and I already know the typical constellations from years of experience.
Project planning
The visualization and control software are tailored to your system, your processes, and your existing parameter sets.
Conversion and commissioning
The duration of the conversion and commissioning depends on the current state of the system. After an on-site assessment of the situation and the necessary modifications, we can provide a reliable estimate of the conversion time.
Operation and Support
I remain available as your permanent contact for maintenance, adjustments, and expansions – directly and without detours.
Customer of Service Elastomertechnik?
If you have previously maintained your machines through Service Elastomertechnik, you are in the right place. I am the original developer of the software and will seamlessly continue the support and maintenance of the control system and software. I am familiar with your system, your parameter sets, and your configurations – the transition will be smooth.
